A technology company, built by scientists.
RAN BioLinks Canada exists to remove the duct-tape between the tools that run modern science. We are not a services shop — we are a product company building the unified software ecosystem life sciences has been missing.
Why we exist.
We were founded by scientists with extensive clinical and research experience who kept hitting the same wall: fragmented tools creating artificial data silos. While countless solutions exist, their separation is driven primarily by business models rather than scientific need.
That fragmentation forces researchers into an impossible choice — invest in multiple disconnected systems, or sacrifice essential capability to budget. The result is teams spending more time managing disjointed software than making discoveries.
Our philosophy is fundamentally different. We believe scientists deserve a unified ecosystem where every tool works seamlessly together. MAESTRO is that vision — traditionally separate systems combined into one cohesive platform that puts science first.
A track record on studies that could not fail.
Before MAESTRO was a platform, its principles were tested on some of the most demanding clinical operations imaginable.
Households enrolled under lockdown
On the ConCorD19 study, more than a thousand households were enrolled in record time and followed up with home visits — in the midst of pandemic lockdowns. Studies were implemented within weeks of design and data locked down within weeks of study end.
Cross-border biospecimen logistics
We managed the day-to-day logistics of international COVID-19 trials — procuring collection kits, coordinating timed biospecimen collection, and handling processing, storage and transport across international borders with regulatory approvals.
Continents coordinated end to end
We skillfully oversaw a study spanning four continents and multiple laboratories — managing reagent procurement, protocol revisions, staff changeover and central-lab testing, with timely updates throughout.
The principles behind the platform.
Built by scientists
Founded by people with deep clinical, laboratory and regulatory experience. Every feature is informed by direct operational reality, not abstract assumptions.
Unified by principle
We believe the separation of life-sciences tools is driven by business models, not science. We build one ecosystem where everything works together.
Canadian by DNA
Headquartered in Canada with data, infrastructure and governance within Canadian jurisdiction — and deployment patterns that respect provincial privacy law.
Global by reach
Proven on studies spanning four continents and multiple laboratories, coordinated end to end — from logistics to multiomic analysis.
Security first
Every architectural decision prioritizes data protection, audit integrity and access control. Compliance is a foundation, not a feature.
Continuous innovation
Agile development with regular releases incorporating operator feedback. We treat our roadmap as a transparent commitment.
A partnership, not a procurement.
We treat every engagement as a long-term relationship — measured by your outcomes, not our invoice.
- 01
Listen
We start with your operations, constraints and compliance posture — not a sales script. Understanding the work comes first.
- 02
Design
We map the fastest path to value: which modules, what to migrate, and how to configure MAESTRO to how your teams actually work.
- 03
Build
We implement, migrate and validate — with evidence aligned to GAMP 5 and training in English and French.
- 04
Operate
We stay engaged with monitoring, support and a transparent roadmap, so the platform keeps delivering as you scale.
Rooted in Canada. Built for the world.
From our Toronto headquarters, we operate with infrastructure and governance firmly within Canadian jurisdiction — while supporting research teams across continents.
Let's build the future of life-sciences software.
Whether you want to consolidate your operations or partner on something new, we would like to hear from you.
